Beyond the practice
- In his free time, Dr. Kevin enjoys spending time with family and his cat Kimbap (who is named after Korean-style sushi).
- He likes to stay active by cycling and hiking.
- Dr. Kevin loves tacos and can be found sampling the many taco offerings in San Diego County!
Meet Dr. Bilal Chaudhary
Dr. Bilal Chaudhary is a Torontoborn orthodontist who brings a warm, patient first approach to Gilmore Orthodontics. Fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, he makes it easy for families from diverse backgrounds to feel right at home.
After earning his Honours B.Sc. from McMaster University in 2017 , he completed his DDS at NYU College of Dentistry, where he was class president, school president, commencement speaker, and an inductee of the OKU Honors Society. His passion for advanced care led him to the University of Michigan, where he obtained a Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2025 and was honored with the Lyons Family Endowed Orthodontic Resident Fellowship and the Robert G. Aldrich Graduate Orthodontics Scholarship. He is also a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
For Dr. Bilal, orthodontics is “far more than just fixing smiles—it’s about transforming lives.” He strives to make every patient feel heard, cared for, and empowered, believing that a confident smile can open doors well beyond the mirror.
Outside the clinic, you’ll catch him following almost any sport—especially basketball—or jumping into a pickup game of pickleball or volleyball. He loves experimenting in the kitchen, devouring mystery thriller novels, and scouting out the best taco spots with family and friends. Looking ahead, Dr. Bilal hopes to sponsor local school sports teams as another way to support the community he serves.

I am a Registered Dental Assistant and love assisting Dr. Gilmore with all of our amazing patients. My favorite part of working at Gilmore Orthodontics is seeing the progress everyone makes in creating their own perfect smile.
I am originally from Western New York and have lived in San Diego for 14 years. My free time is dedicated to having adventures with my loving husband and two boys. We love going to the beach, BBQ’s with friends and enjoying San Diego.
